NX1 - what does framing mode do? Can't find it anywhere

Framing mode attempts to keep the preview image at a constant brightness instead of trying to show what the final exposure will look like. This is useful for shooting in darker environments with flash and some other cases so that you can see enough to frame the shot.

Put the camera in manual mode and adjust the aperture and shutter all the way down and up. You should not notice a difference of brightness on the LCD screen or viewfinder

It's a very useful feature. I first thought it was something that helped me frame my images. Which is what it does but I was thinking like the grid lines, metering, etc so I turned it on. Forgot all about it and then went out for a shoot. Words can not express the look on my face when I saw just how dark my pictures were. To me, it's all about the experience and I'm just trying to make the best of everything.

Yes, it is great !

Combined with the histogram it is superb in all situations , makes me look less on the final picture and more imagine how I want it, slightly over, under or just average exposed, just a quick look at the histogram and focus more on composition, I use it all the time, it feels more analog so I like it :)
