Are EOS M battery (LP-E12) and M3 battery (LP-E17) interchangeable?

Does anyone know if these two batteries are interchangeable? This website seems indicates that the charger LC-E12 is good for both but I believe LC-E17 is the charger goes with M3.

The LC-17 is physically thicker than the LC-12. They're not compatible - keyed so the LC-12 won't fit in the EOS M3 too.
