1st pick is natural out of camera. Second is after editing. I must say I surprised myself with the results. Stunning I'd say and give myself an "attaboy"
One thing I noticed in your edit is that there appears to be a sort of halo around the flower. I'm guessing that this is an artifact of the blur technique that you used on the background. In any case, it doesn't look quite right to me.
I like the soft and warmer effect that you used. Well done.
As previously mentioned and to avoid the blurred colour spillage, set the flower above on its own layer, click the layer icon to hide it and select the layer below. Add a new blank layer over top of this one and use the clone stamp tool (100%) to add in the BG over the outer edges around the entire flower. Now, when you activate the flower layer above, the yellow glow below is no longer visible.
For another approach, I used the original and added a bit more emphasis on the BG.
Gave gave the background a little darker look, more vibrancy and backlighting to the bloom and some depth of field for the. No more halo or ghosting. Not too bad I think I like this best.
