I just got my TG-860 a few days ago. Since these cameras are brand new, I thought I'd post some photos here. I put up a review too.

As you can see, the image quality of this 16 MP camera is not the same as a typical 16 MP digital SLR style camera, like my Sony A55 (which I used for a couple of years) or a Nikon D7000. In fact, I don't think the image quality is even as good as that from my Nikon D200, which is only a 10 MP camera. It's still not terrible though, for an underwater point-and-shoot camera, in my opinion. To me, the image quality is quite good, at full-screen size on my 13" MacBook Air. Still, it's not good enough to print 20x30, even though it's a 16 MP camera, while the image quality from my 10 MP Nikon D200 is good enough to print that size.
The photos I have posted above are 2x3 format - not 3x4. The camera makes 16 MP photos at 3x4, but not 2x3, as you may have noticed.
I really like this little camera. (It's not so little for a point-and-shoot though.)
Here's what I like about it:
- Fold-out screen (similar to my other, bigger cameras - R1, D5000, A55, A65)
- It's waterproof
- It has a gps
- Its lens zooms out to a really wide angle (21mm equiv.)
- It's pretty quick for a point-and-shoot camera (fast focus and shooting)
- It can shoot photos very fast (60 fps at 1920x1280 resolution)
Here's a gallery with more photos and some videos:

I haven't used the wi-fi yet.
I have to qualify this mini-review. I am no expert with point-and-shoot cameras. I've only used one other new one recently (a Nikon, which was only $150 new).
