What would be responsible for this? (a regular grid showed up in a stacked long exposure)

Hi,

Did you ever figure out a fix for this? I have the same issue.

When I had this issue with my Canon 6D I realized that it was because I was applying adjustments prior to stacking in PS, most specifically lens correction. I fixed it by applying adjustments after stacking.

With the Fujifilm, lens correction seems to be automatically applied, even to the RAW files, so I can't find a way to stack the photos without the lens correction.

I'm shooting with an x-e3.

Thank you for any help.

My approach has been to import the raw files into lightroom and manually turn off lens corrections. Often times lightroom will automatically turn on lens corrections if it finds a match for your lens, the only time I find it doesnt is with adapted lenses or manual lenses with no electronic connection to the camera. Then I export all of the images as TIFF and stack in something like Deep Sky Stacker afterward.
