I got this camera used for $10 at a pawn shop. I bought it main because kids see me taking pictures and they want to try, so I wanted something to hand them they could use without risking $800 or so in equipment. It's great for that purpose, but I'm afraid not much else.
There's no manual mode, but there are quite a few auto modes for situations like underwater, backlight, night, etc. To do video, you have to select a video mode it through one of the mode change buttons on top.
The details in the shadows held up well thanks to the flash. That date stamp is on by default.

Most pictures by kids turn out kind of like this.

He kept his finger off the lens for this one.

My nephew who took this one actually has a pretty good eye for composition.

It looks good for web use, but there's some noise even at ISO80. Results from this camera will look a little wonky for even smallish prints of photos taken in bright sunlight.

There would have been quite a few more pictures, but the camera quit working. When I opened it up, I found water inside. This may be related to the fact there's a flap that's supposed to snap shut over the batteries and memory card. It will only snap with no batteries in it. With batteries, I can't get it to latch. I was still able to close the gasket flap over this, which kept the door closed and theoretically sealed, but it apparently didn't work so well. Keep in mind I didn't take it diving. I just put it in some shallow puddles for a few seconds at a time.
My batteries were wrecked and it couldn't read the memory card anymore. Any attempt to clean it out thoroughly just killed it for good. Sadly, I won't get to test the video features. I was looking forward to shooting video in a fish tank. If I had paid new prices for this camera, I'd be pretty upset with Kodak right now.
So pros:
* Small
* Good battery life
* A three-old chucked it across a tile floor with no affect on operation
Cons:
* Noisy images, even at very low ISO.
* Fixed focus and aperture. This is more like an old 110 point-and-shoot than a current digital camera.
* Low-res video only
* ISO range is very limited. It does OK with the flash, but can't take usable pictures in even moderately dark situations with flash illumination.
* Very limited controls
* Submerge at your own risk.
