Have anyone sucessfully shot a yongnuo flash ON CAMERA (anyone that supports HSS) in HSS with a sony camera, specially in the new shoe (A99, A58, A77ii.....)?
AFAIK there is NO automation at all and NO HSS mode. Not sure if potentially available on CaNikons but not on Sony. Single hot shoe contact to do normal manual trigger through camera hot shoe.
Yongnuo excels at price/power point but ONLY in manual mode. Linked with Yongnuo 603 remote triggers make very cost-effective multi lighting setups - all manual (or using 560 MkIV as trigger/controller and cheaper 560 MkIII flash as slaves, without separate triggers)[and this combo supports remote power setting of flashes... But no automation or HSS].
I've been reading a lot about sony flash system and third party brands.
There are a couple YN flashes that support HSS in Canon and Nikon shoe... just wanted to know if they could be used with Sony HSS.... and looks like they can't
