Maybe I am . I just bought the original M from Japan , should be here in about 4 days . I can't wait to lay hands on it .

I have 3 M bodies. All different colors. 11-22 permanently attached to one, 18-55 to another. The last one I change lenses with often. If I need to shoot wide angle, pull the white M out of the bag. Normal zoom? Grab the red M.

I have 2 original Ms (one of them in original price), 3 EF-M lenses, adapter, flash, preordered M3 with viewfinder (which I promised to myself to buy only when price goes down). I also have 5DMKiI with some nice lenses. If tomorrow M4 will be announced — I will preorder one as well.We are all patients of same institution

Up to 4 Ms is OK. You are nuts if you have 5 or 6.
I had two. Recently sold one after preordered M3. I am fine with form and features of original M. But my wife needs EVF.

Look, I have the pleasure (and luxury perhaps) of shooting with dozens of camera models - from many brands - so I've come to enjoy all that digital photography has come to offer.
I'm currently firmly entrenched in both the Olympus/Panasonic m4/3 and Fuji communities, and most recently started enjoying the Samsung NX community. But ever since I purchased the "M" a few years ago, I was impressed with the quality of the IQ that I was achieving - not to mention the rich, dynamic colors that this model was capable of. I just recently got the M2, and like you, would not hesitate to get the M3.
I personally don't believe in pre-ordering anything. I'd much rather wait until a good stock is in play to avoid the rush of everyone else making their mad dashes at getting theirs. So I'll be contacting Yodobashi camera in Japan in a few months to see the status of the M3 in stock there.
So no, you're not crazy at all. It's obvious that you enjoy the M series of cameras very much, and the M3 advances quite a few things (i.e. MP count, speed, optional EVF, etc).
So many nice toys out there, that's for sure. Now I do wish that Canon would come out with a zoom lens that has a 24 MM equivalent on the wide end, and at least at 85 MM on the long end, and possibly longer (i.e. 120 MM). But I'm just not seeing the rush to release M series of lenses by Canon and that's where everyone else has them beat. We can only keep on hoping.

LOL I would not do this! You can send it for an IR conversion. You may pass your extra lens and flash online if you don't need them!
