Had one of the best days with my FZ1000.

Nice images. According to EXIF the exposure compensation was 655 Ev for several of the images. That's quite a bit! ;-) Was 400mm EFL enough, or are the images cropped afterwards?

Thanks Steen Bay, the exposure comp gets effected by PhotoFun Studio sometimes with video grab. The focal length varied but when I was shooting 4k video I was in iZoom and some shots were almost up to 1200mm, as far as the other shots most of them were cropped to some degree.

The last two photos are beautiful, the previous are ruined by post processing.

Thanks Ann, yes it's a great place to visit and Boundary Bay is not far away and has some great wildlife as well. Your not too far away so it's just a skip and a jump and your there. Remember they close at 4pm in the winter.

Almost forgot the bird is a Hooded Merganser.
