His excellent “A little more of ballet” brought to me memories of a late October 2014 night on Isola Tiberina in Rome. Thus, this LX7 casual frame – just a personal note, nothing more.

Colour or mono version — your choice.

Regards, Alex.

AK -- no EX, no IF, just photography: reflection of a moment impossible to reproduce.

The total reality is the world.
A picture is a model of reality.
A picture is a fact.

Ours is a coloured world, my choice is for the first image. Nice shot.

Dear colleague, yours is the coloured world, mine is not. The world is reality as we perceive it. Neither philosophers nor physicists stop crossing bridges because they are made of atoms and are therefore are 99.999...% empty space. They are solid in the way ordinary people use the word, and crossable for all practical purposes.

Photographically I use to perceive the world in monochrome. After a long period of being separated from the non-snapshot photography, I'm getting back to monochrome viewfinder perception (Atget, Bill Brandt, Smeloff, Sudek, et al). The shot presented is not really photography for me, but just a a memory note of one wonderful evening, therefore the colour version beats B&W.

As Buddhists say: Reality is not what it seems to be, nor is it otherwise.

Thanks and best wishes, Alexander.

Wittgenstein's Tractatus-Logico-Philosophicus:

The total reality is the world.
The picture is a model of reality.
The picture is a fact.

They look like they were shot at a very high ISO (way past where the camera seems comfortable), then have been sharpened and finally had some noise reduction on them, as well as a serious amount of HDR. Both a kinda flat and the woman's face has some horrible artefacts on it.

Neither really appeal to me. Sorry.
