Other reviewers have commented on the value for money aspect of this lens. Nothing beats it.

A superb, compact, reasonably fast, tack sharp and extremely useful lens. Wonderful for stitched landscapes and, of course, portraiture (albeit a tad long for the latter). I would even go as far as saying that it performs as well as my Olympus 12/f2.0 (at a fraction of the price !)

The smooth focussing ring does not bother me, neither does the "rattle".

Five stars, no doubt about that.
