I am looking for a camera for my college age daughter who loves
taking pictures but is somewhat techologically challenged. i can
get a great deal on either the Kodak cx4200 or the HP 318. I've
heard the Kodak may be easier to use. Neither has an optical zoom.
I think the HP is autofocus vs Focusfree. Any advice on which is
the better choice (and why)? steve
I have never worked with the HP318, but I did recently buy the
Kodak CX4200 with Dock at Target for $188 and I have been extremely
pleased. I don't take a ton of pics so I just wanted something
that was handy, and easy to use... and this definitely is. The
software works great too. You can do all kinds of handy stuff and
it's tons of fun. I have worked a few dc in my day and everyone I
had to read the manual but not this one. The back buttons are very
easy to figure out. Good luck.
