…nothing pix, brent, but the group portrait is excellent.

Great idea to hand out the URL but can anyone download the pix?

Sitting at a picnic table in a local park this little guy wouldn't fly away, so I captured him!

Olympus E-PM2 Industar 50-2 50mm 2.8 all coated with some Starbucks coffee. Clumsy me. UofK arboretum, Lexington, Ky
Obviously, they weren't too caffeine affected -- which doesn't surprise me; we Australians regard Starbucks coffee as the equivalent of pretty innocuous dishwater! :)

Couple of nicely composed pix there, Alfredo.

Geoff - How is your friendly, neighborhood volcano doing? I just saw an amazing video of an eruption on Facebook. It's a far cry from these peaceful scenes.
It is all over Jim. Quiescent in about 24 hours.

There were some terrific photos and videos around from in the darkness (it went off at about 3.30AM) and particularly, in the dawn. I missed that; as I explained in my volcano pix post, I just couldn't get my eyes open after a poorish night's sleep following two weeks of full-on work away and a modest celebration on returning home!

So I turned up pretty late for it all -- about mid-morning.

Damn, damn, damn! LOL.

…I’m not sure I can see sharp focus anywhere. I think the plane of sharpest focus might be just in front of the subject. Pity - a great shot otherwise.

Cheers, geoff

Yes, I agree with you on the first two shots, there's nothing there except setting the story of the kid flipping me off and then me getting them to pose for the camera.

One would have to have the URL to get to the images, but that URL goes to one temporary folder where I put the shots both of this group and of the couple with the young son, so they were each able to see all of those, as well as a link to all the shots I kept of this event. And my main reason for posting any of these images here was to share the idea of having little pieces of paper with a URL to give to subjects you don't know.

I had to work today and after a gruelling day I come home and find that on top of everything else I have to worry about your mental heath!!

No 3 in particular gives me cause for concern along with no 5.

I'm not sure I've worked out the first yet though :-(

Great.

Off topic - I went to shoot platform 9¾ for you during the week but as tt321 said there was a long queue of tourists so Im afraid I didnt wait.
I looked at some pics on Flickr that people too there, and it seems nothing new is to be done. But, i won't count you out. There might be a good photo there about muggle tourists.

Samyang FE - I think I must have accidentally moved the aperture ring as this is not as the more distant bushes are quite mushy
