Free The Lobsters!
I took this shot while walking down the old narrow streets of the historic city of Batroun. I found the scene so symbolic specially in moments like those we're living in this part of the world, where taking hostages has become almost a daily routine.

My thoughts are with our Lebanese Army hostages captured by the ISIS terrorists group!

Interesting shot and I take the point about the hostages, though I did not realise that ISIS had taken Lebanese soldiers as hostages as well. It's a nasty business and I share your thoughts and concerns.

Beautifully done with the M9 Rodrigue, and the thoughts behind it.

Mine too, and anyone unfortunate enough to be in that awful situation. It's like something out of the middle ages isn't it?

Very best
Mike

PS: The more you use it, the more you'll want to keep it!

Ashley and Mike, thanks for your thoughts, hope this Middle Ages barbarian resurrection ends very soon before it's too late!

Quiet very deep sense behind such a satirical picture... However I like the way it looks absurd.)

Rodrigue,

I like this image a lot - the delicate tonal gradation, the color and the square composition all work extremely well. I also like the surreal feeling that the lobster shells bring to this image.

Very nicely done.

Agree with you about that brutality and the return to the dark ages dynamic going on in our world. I hope folks come to their senses, though I don't think it is imminent, unfortunately.

Cheers,

-raaj

Actually John, I'm thinking in printing it and give it as a gift to a fired who owns a restaurant!
