I'm shooting with a Nikon D90 with close to 100,000 shutter releases. I use the 18-105mm kit lens, 50mm, 11-16, 70-300, and a 300 f/4

I shoot mostly architecture and street scenes and I find that I use the 18-105 80% of the time, 11-16 the rest of the time. I use the 50mm occasionally for a super sharp image or for the DOF.

I'm really attracted to the XPRO-1 and would like to know if the XPRO-2 is on the horizon? Also what lens would you recommend for the type of photography I'm into? As you can see, I don't suffer from G.A.S. as I'm still shooting with a D90. Do the Leica lens work well with the FUJI? I've always wanted a LEICA 35mm f/2 SUMMICRON and would be willing to spend crazy money for one if the results were stellar on the FUJI.

Thanks for any insight.

XPro1 is one fine camera, and the prices are starting to drop a bit. IMO the first generation X-Trans cameras (XPro1, X-E1) have the most consistent output that's fantastic. If there is an XPro2 announced at Photokina next month it won't be until next year until it hits the market--plus new Fuji releases seem to suffer from growing pains.... Im OK with getting older technology at a lower price, and it seems you are as well.

If you're good with primes I'd check out the 23 or 27 Fujinons, or for a little more reach the 32 Zeiss or 35 Fujinon (old lens that may get an upgrade). I have the Zeiss and it's a winner. The 18-55 zoom is quite good as well.

Fuji also makes a Leica M adapter for the X mount cameras, and while Ive heard good things about them, I dont have the experience to make an assessment. Research that adapter for more info. Ive considered getting one because there are good deals to be had on some used Leica M lenses like the 35 Summicron you mentioned.

Good luck! :D
