I think this is the first digital camera I have owned that doesn't have a histogram to judge exposure after the shot. Am I missing a hidden adjustment or something? Any comments?

The histogram is very much there ...

For viewing before shooting, go to menu item 3, then Disp Custom Setting options.
Or in the manual p.76 where all is revealed ....

On playback, press DISP / BACK and cycle to detail information.

While you are reviewing your photos on the camera, press disp-back button and then choose the most right option. Then you will be able to see histogram.

Untrue. You can customize your image display to include or exclude any number of items including a histogram. You can do this both for the viewfinder as well as the image display after you've taken the shot. It's in the manual (don't have it handy else I'd give you a page number).

My bad, I guess I should have taken the time to read the manual. Thanks guys, I wish I would have proposed this question a long time ago.
