Perfect for me

I have had to trade in my range of bigger EOS's (5DMkIII, 6D, 7D), as I have developed arthritis in both hands, and these cameras, while being brilliant, were causing a lot of discomfort because of size, weight, etc.

I have bought 2 EOS 600D's, and find them ergonomically and weight-wise to be excellent.

I am a working Pro, and my work was suffering with the bigger cameras, as I could not concentrate fully with the discomfort.

I work entirely in RAW, Manual mode, so this little EOS is lacking in nothing as far as my workflow is concerned.

I recommend the EOS 600D without hesitation!

That camera does provide good value. The quality is high at a low cost. I did almost the same. I bought two Canon T2i (550D) cameras about 2-1/2 years ago. I haven't upgraded yet. I like the relatively lighter and smaller Rebels anyway.

It's perfect for me too! Portability is important to me, and on our latest vacation, I was able to pack my T3i, flash, 4 lenses, remote, batteries, SD cards & charger in a small Lowepro slingshot and did a few days of heavy walking and riding in crowded buses and even did a boat tour and didn't feel like I was lugging around this much camera gear; I didn't feel like the gear got in the way of me enjoying my vacation at all.

Sure, in low level situations most of the shots came out a little noisy from shooting at 6400ISO, but thankfully the de-noising feature of Lightroom can save most of the shots; I'm a very happy 600D owner also.

I'll be buying a second T4i/T5i body for our trip to Alaska next winter... you REALLY can't beat the price of this camera when you look at features and image quality.

My only gripe is that the grain on anything above 1600iso gets REALLY bad, and I shoot aquatic birds a lot, so I end up in the shadows needing a high shutter speed most of the time.

Other than that, just about the entire t#i line is tough to beat.
