I'm just getting started in digital photography and was woundering if PS 7 would be to hard to start out with, a friend said to start out in Elements. Does anyone have any knowledge on this ?Thanks Ron

money aside.
If you ever outgrow Elements you can upgrade down the road. Most
likely you can spend the extra dollars on your next camera. You're
more likely to outgrow your camera first.

I started in Elements, and its good basic training for 7. Unless you are going to shoot 16bit raw, you can stay with elements
