Beautiful lens, super fast focus, deadly tack sharp. 2.8 makes your bokeh looks very smooth and

creamy. The best glass I ever had. Too expensive ? Not really for what it does BMO.

I agree. Every time I shoot with it I am amazed by the quality of the pictures and that's why I try to find a reason to use it all the time!

Good timing.

I just took delivery of mine yesterday. Sold a Zeiss 35 1.4 and 85 1.4 to facilitate this. I realized, as much as I loved the Zeiss lenses, they were the exact focal length of my two even better Nikon lenses, which have AF. So give up the pleasure of using the Zeiss on an infrequent basis, and greatly extend my range.

I looked seriously at the f4, which I am sure is a fine lens, lighter, etc etc. Kind of like the 1.8 primes are also fine lenses. But they are not legends.

So far I have just played around with the lens. This weekend will see some serious shooting. Also got the LensAlign system, so I am going to check all of my AF lenses...

Its a superb lens...until you pick up a 200f2. My 70200 doesnt see daylight.
