Very nice shots, Woza. You seem to have nailed the white birds, and that can be difficult sometimes trying to hold those highlights. Next time you are stalking those water birds, try to catch a series of shots right when they plunge into the water for their next meal. Some of my favorite shots were captured doing just that and "accidentally" catching them flip the fish into their beaks. Just let the hammer down as soon as they dip for the catch and hold it until they come up.

Thanks for you kind comment, I have tried what you want me todo but have not been able to perfect it. But in time I hope to post a few.:-)

I'm thinking about trading my D300 and telephoto for a micro four-thirds set up as I am sick of the weight. What lens were your photos shot on?

Cheers

Hi,

I moved from D3 + 300mmf/4 to EM1.

The top images are all with a 50-200 SWD + EC 14+ Adaptor

The last was with the 75-300 Mk 2 lens.

It's a great Camera.

75-300 also hand held.
75-300 also hand held.
