Emil,
A perfectly timed thread
I haven't seen the one from you before. Its a refreshingly uncomplicated shot but there is enough going on to hold the viewers interest. I'd say it's 'classic street'
Nicely done,
Paul

the first is excellent and ageless wonderful image. the second much more modern and edgy and again really good I love it.I'm horrible at doing 'Projects'. I have a drifting mind. I should though. My point being, single photos seldom represent a body of work or an idea well. Very iconic photos like the ones form Capa and Bresson guide entire schools of thought on their own, but few other photographers come into such a position.
Anyway, I've selected a few partially because they are so dissimilar and perhaps by doing so no expectation of context can be had
"Happy Day" Barcelona (a reflex shot with a manual 1.8/105 @ 1.8 - I was lucky)
"Japanese in Stockholm" flash photography, Gilden/Cohen style

the last is daring and almost brutal in its honesty all three of these are for me first rate street
Definitely a favourite of mine too Emil.A favorite one of mine:
Not necessarily favourites as such, but (I think) they each have something of interest in them. The more I try to do 'street' photography the harder I'm finding it. I'm trying to be much more selective in finding something of interest in a subject and not just people randomly walking about.
