e20 + flash sunpak 455 power

Just got a e2o with a 1gig drive, how long do you think the power will last.
I have 4 1800 and 4 1900 ma batteries
Also how long would the Sunpak 455 flash gun last with 6 of these batteries.
How should I set the cam up with this flash gun on what settings.
Can I also use the SHQ for very good pictures or do I need a tiff
Any tips would be very helpfull.

Yes, you can get excellent photos with SHQ but keep in mind that you can set this mode for various compressions (2.7:1 giving the largest file and best results).

Not familiar with the Sunpak 455 (hot shoe mount???), but I use the Sunpak 544 and 555 with my E-10s. As the Sunpaks are not dedicated to the Exx but are an auto flash, all settings are manual (camera and flash). Along with my 544 and 555 (handle mount units) I use the Sunpak TRIIa battery packs; these give me 200 plus flashes along with very fast recycle times (one second or less).

With my E-10s and 1500mah batteries I got very poor results (maybe 25 shots). It might have been that the batteries weren't very good, but I gave up on these and bought the lipo/grip (pricey, but worth it).
