Can anyone compare the actual experience in using these bags? How much larger really is for Union Street in actual use? I plan to carry D800 ungripped but attached with 24-70/2.8, two Zeiss lenses of 21/2.8 and 135/2 plus a SB910 flash. No need for space for a 15" laptop. Can a Brixton do the job or has to been the slightly larger Union Street?

I have no experience with either of these bags, but I can direct you to a couple of videos that discuss them...

Thanks for the links. I'd already watched them. I'm not looking for general description but actual user comparison between these two specific Ona bags, namely Brixton and Union Street particular size and capacity.

I thought you could tell size and capacity from the vids?

Ok, hope someone has them both and can reply.

Happy hunting...

Hey Guys,

I've owned both.

Off the bat the Union Street looks much more refined. The Union street is a bit longer in the exterior and makes a great bag for both business meetings and shooting weddings. I can fit three full frame large lenses easily with my camera and a lens on it. I could do the same with the Brixton, it was just a bit tighter because it isn't as long.

The biggest difference I noticed was the side pockets. Neither are big enough for a bottle of water but the Brixton's were a bit bigger and could fit a speedlight and transceiver very very tightly while the Union street barely fits sun glasses or a point and shoot camera.

The front pouch is a big difference because the Brixton has two different pouches that seemed to open a bit wider from the bag. It was a bit more unorganized but it did the job very well. The Union street has one large zipper compartment that is more suited for business applications because the small organizational compartments of the one large pocket seems to be designed for pens, phones, and small trinckets.

Union street fits a 15inch laptop very easily...

The brixton also fit my 15" Macbook pro but it was very very tight and affected the shape of the entire bag.

They're both awesome bags... but I personally like the Union Street 1% more. I just wish the side pockets were bigger and the organizational pockets in the front were photography oriented instead of designed for business cards, pens, and cellphones.

You can't go wrong with either of them really. If you want one that'll look great for school, consultations, and photography events, then I'd go with the Union Street. The Brixton does all of the above as well, it's just a slightly different style and just a fraction smaller. I still fit everything that was in my Brixton into the Union Street. The only difference is how tightly packed everything gets.
