I bought this after my 3rd Casio gave up after many years (liked it though). My other camera is a Fuji X-100.

I was after a pocket camera (that doesn't shout that you re a tourist). I wanted good results, easy video engage, big bright LED screen and in this size camera....not much else. It has this.

It has full HD video that is great, really good photos but most of all I like the intelligent auto photo scene select. As with all small cameras there is so much hidden in menus that can't be accessed in a hurry. This little camera 'reads the scene' and selects say macro or whatever to suit it's understanding of the scene including anticipating object of focus.

I don't like the power tele as it takes time on the touch screen and video has to be turned on by the screen too. The front scratches when sliding open.

So, I'm looking at the bigger Fuji XF-1 that gets over those with manual tele and one hit video button. But I think I'd miss some of the good things above including the small size and for me that's the compromise to decide on.
