A Stocking Stuffer for those who want it. I tried it, it works as many desire.

RX10 Does have Auto ISO in Manual Mode (Sony 176 page Manual: page 41)

1. leave ISO on ISO Auto

2. move dial to Manual Mode.

3. set Apetture with Aperture Ring

4. set Shutter with rear Control Dial

5. Press Shutter Halfway, the Automatically Chosen ISO will be shown.

6. Reposition to darker or brighter area, or, the lighting condition changes while waiting for a shot.

7. Press Shutter Halfway, the revised Automatically Chosen ISO will be shown.

(an exception if ND filter is engaged)

Thanks Elliott - nice to know. Just got mine today (12/24) on the $937 Adorama open box special - charged & fired just a couple of shots - appears to be working well with no sign of being "used." Looking forward to working through the manual. Happy Holidays.
