Only about 8 more hours to go and I'll have my replacement E-10 delivered by UPS. I'm hoping this one doesn't have the focus issues and that the viewfinder works correctly. Not too much longer now.....

I received my replacement E-10 today. The one I sent back would not focus unless the IR was turned off and the viewfinder didn't light up to show the camera settings.

The replacement has firmware version 1.33. The camera will focus quickly and accurately every time with the IR turned on or off. The viewfinder is fine.

I went out and tested out the camera a little bit today. Here's a couple shots taken with it. I'm a happy camper now

I got a thing for DOF shots. I really love the one with the police call box; nice shot! If you don't mind me asking, what were your settings?

Thanks. For that shot I wanted to get the background a little OOF, but not too blurred. I used f3.2 and 1/100 in aperture priority mode. Focal length was 22mm, so I was a little over half zoom.

Dwight....I'm glad you got the camera problem fixed. Those type of problems give me the blues, especially when you can't just walk into a store and exchange it for another one. Great pictures too!

Thanks. I am happy to get this thing straightened out finally. Like you said, not being able to just go and exchange it at a store was not too much fun. This camera is looking like a totally different one compared to the first one I received. Much better.

Dwight....I'm glad you got the camera problem fixed. Those type of
