Great portrait lens and very strongly recommended, I am using it on an Olympus E-P2 and it can occasionally hunt a bit to focus in low light - more of an Olympus problem than Sigma I hasten to add - but on the whole incredible value (I paid £129 from SRS in Watford). My friends and relatives, who have become the subjects of portrait shots, all sing its praises even though it is so sharp as to be revealing of the minute blemishes we associate with ageing. In simple terms it does what it says on the box and then some. It is now on the Oly E-P2 full time except when in the street when a Panasonic 20mm F1.7 takes over though I will give the Sigma an airing soon to see how it handles outside.

Faults? Absolutely none, full marks to Sigma for delivering real value and quality. And it comes with a nice lens hood and pouch. And that makes a nice change too.

I agree 100%

Definitely. I'm very impressed with the performance of the Sigma 60/2.8 DN A on my Sony A6000. It lives on that camera. When researching prior to purchase I was very impressed with how well the Sigma 60/2.8 compared to the Sony FE55/1.8 in their shared f/stop range.

The only niggle I have is the sma-thoooth focus barrel of Sigma's DN A E-mount "Holy Trinity" lenses. I usually prefer manual focus or to at least check AF with MF and the bare metal focus barrel has zero tactile feedback for me so I tried a few things around the barrel (wide rubber band, several rubber O-rings) and settled on a strip of black gaffer tape around the focus barrel for a better feel. I did the same on my Sigma 19/2.8 DN A. My Sigma 30/2.8 EX DN has the ribbed rubber focus ring and feels much better to me. I wish Sigma would provide a slip on rubber focus ring for these lenses.

I wish Sigma would release these three DN primes in a Fuji X mount version. They'd fit great on my X-A1!
