I hope someone here can help.

I have my old computer monitor hooked up to my sony notebook. It is a pain working around the notebook screen. Does anybody know if i is possable to remove the screen? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.--

I'm not sure about the ability/ramifications of removing the screen. I just saved a little extra money and bought a docking station.

Never owned a Sony Viao, but isn't it possible to just plug in an external keyboard and mouse and close the lid on the laptop? Would seem strange if it isn't, as any notebook I've ever owned allowed you to do this.

I have owned several Vaio laptops and you most definately can...hook up external mouse, keyboard, etc.. monitor. close lcd and move laptop to the side. note.. some models have a seting in bios (hit f2, upon startup) that directs the computer to do something (shutdown,hibernate,etc..) if the lcd is shut,,, just disable this.

thats it. my recomendation would be to get a logitech wireless mouse/keyboard.... just my two cents.
