7I Pink Camera

I'm traveling and I don't have my 7I instruction book with me. A small icon of a pink camera is appearing in the upper left hand corner of the view finder. What is this pink camera. Is it a feature that can be turned on and off? How? The camera is working fine. Thanks in advance for the help. Please nobody tell me that my camera is feelingin the pink.

I don't own a D7(series) camera yet, but I have heard you can download the manual from Minolta's web site. If someone doesn't respond with an answer, you may want to try the Minolta site.

That is the mode indicator, for "Record" mode.

If you change the mode to "Playback" or "Movie" etc., the indicator will change accordingly.

You can't switch it off on it's own, but if you press the "i+" button you can turn off most or all of the viewfinder information, should you need/prefer to.

That is just the Mode Indicator telling you that you are in Camera Mode.

I thought maybe you had the new mary kay edition camera in pink, hehehe. Oh well she gives everything esle in pink to her loyal sellers.
