Thanks Eric......contrast was a bit of a problem so had to do some exposure blending and some "gimping" but happy with the result. The redwood is great..... photographers eye....

Amusing image, Pierre .. I keep thinking about the guy who build the temple - what would be his reaction to new scene? ;-) .. well spotted and presented, thank you for sharing.

All the best,

This reminds me so much of the "False Redwood Tree" mobile telephone towers we have here, that I just now went out and took this:

Cell-Phone tower, San Martin, California. ZS25 crop.

They wanted to hide some Microwave Transmitters in on the church steeples near here
the locals were up in arms about radiation fears and the project was abandoned.

They have a bunch of those around Charlotte. They stick out so much higher than the normal trees that they look totally rediculous.

Thanks Bruno,

Actually I guess that I am lucky .....most would not have seen this so well....just happened to spot in from my wheelchair at exactly the right angle. Took three shots bracketed and blended a few layers to preserve some detail in the sky etc and to bring out the brick work better. A bit of fun....Thanks for looking.
