Dear all,

A month ago, I posted a thread asking five questions about wedding photography as I was asked to take photos of a big wedding.

Last week, I finished the work. I realised that it is quite a demanding job, both physically and mentally, for a whole day. Nevertheless, I enjoyed some moments and also worked fine with my a100.

I have to say a big thank you to those who helped me and in particular, William Porter, who made some very detailed suggestions and analyses. Here I have attached some samples from the wedding as my homework :-) as I was the second photographer, I had a bit more time to do something different :-D

Well done, you! I like 'em all but especially #2 (the close-up of the bride with the veil covering part of her face) and the last one (the couple in the car). #2 might be interesting as a black and white. Beautiful bride, beautifully captured. I think she'll be happy.

Note to others: If I recall correctly, Tim captured these shots with an A100. We get so hung up on the latest gear here that it's always good to be reminded that cameras like the A100 (or the A580, or A850/900) that sometimes seem like antiques, are actually every bit as capable today as they were the day they were released.

Thanks for sharing the images, Tim.

Will

Thanks William.

As you suggested (again ;-)

Nice work! I'm still intimidated by wedding photography - so much at stake. Seems like 2nd photographer is a good way to get started though, and I'm impressed by these shots you've shared!

Really great shots you have there. I love your composition skills.
