Very nice -- love the snake!!

Nice set Dwayne. The snake shot is great but I don't like them. Mind you we don't have them so kiwis tend to be a bit paranoid about snakes.

cheers

is that a dangerous snake?

Quality, as always - thanks for posting them.

Great shots as per, what is the snake, I haven't a clue on them and we only have two types in the uk, one venomous the other not. My instinct would have been distance not picccies.

The length of zoom I would need to take that means I would not have seen it in the 1st place, judging by the girth it could be around 5 foot at a guess.

Thank you very much for the comments everyone on this set ! I really appreciate it !

This snake is harmless and is a Garter snake and is very common here in Ontario, Canada.

This one was small around 12 inches. There must have been a den close by as

they where all around me in the lleaf litter in the woods, tons of them lol.

They make a distinct sound when on the move through dried leaves on the forest floor.

On a side note the second photo has two fresh water eels in it that blend in perfectly

with rocks.

Take care,

Dwayne Oakes
