DPR review is here.

From having this camera for a short time and it being my first Fuji brand camera I agree with the review. Same things I have said in my posts.

Right now my main camera is the Panasonic GH-3 mainly for video, but a good amount of stills as well.

I am interested in the Xpro after seeing results just from the X20. I ruled out the X100s and the larger sensor mainly because of the lens focal length being very very limiting. If it had a zoom that would be way different.

I also did not need a second interchangeable lens system today. If I did switch and I would need a dedicated video camera or I would keep a micro four thirds lens or two and once the Black magic camera that will take these lenses is available I would consider that my compact video camera.

If only Fuji would step up the video game a lot like Panasonic's GH-3 (as far as video options and functions) it would be a no brainer for me to make that switch tomorrow.

In all the time I have been reading DPR I can't recall ever once seeing such a total lack of response to one of their reviews. Especialy about a camera that I "thought" was so egerly awaited.

I see that as well, However, their seems to be lots of discussion directly under the DPREVIEW, "review" page.

I like the camera and don't have any regrets and I'm still inside the return policy I think. The X20 is a good compact, just be realistic in expectations for the video part of the X20 (lacking in that area for now is all.)

I like the X20 too. It's very capable especially for stills shooting. Video is another matter. While HD 1000dpi works OK in the camera and reviews smoothly on camera playback it will not play back smoothly on my iMac. I'm using a big class 10 card so I think the Mac may not have the speed. Video 720 is OK and I like it on the computer. The faster (slow motion speeds) are OK but not much good for general use or viewing.

There is much to like about the X20. Mine is still in the return policy window so it's getting a good workout before I decide. Right now I'm leaning towards keeping it. I find there's a steep learning curve never having used a Fuji camera before. Ant tips welcome!

The battery life is dreadful. If I keep it I'm getting two more from Amazon and also a screen protector and I don't care for the zoom to much. Otherwise pretty damn good box.
