RR-80A

I would not buy one unless the bulb mode really works i.e > 30sec

You can only get them with a new release from fuji, they won't sell an adaptor seperately. Luckily i have the pinouts, and am waiting on some plugs/sockets to ship and i will make my own adaptor.

That's the idea. Don't want to be buying my intervalometer, remote release gear all over again!

Just got off the phone with FUJI.. They have no idea about the RR-80A vs RR-80. In fact they basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about when I mentioned the adaptor. They told me they called Fuji Japan and Fuji Japan had no idea about adaptor and furthermore they said the RR-80 and RR-80A are the SAME product.

ugh.

I have found one guy selling the RR-80A on ebay.uk but no one in the US yet.

They are playing dumb, because they don't want to sell any adaptors without release switches, it would cut into their profit massively. They only come with the RR80A. You cannot get the adaptors from Fuji. That's why i ordered parts to make my own. Gotta got get some suitable cable later to wire them up. Got the sockets and plugs on my desk in front of me, soldering iron at the ready, just been too busy this past two days to get it done! LOL
