This being my first digital camera, I really don't have a frame of reference. But I'm very impressed -- I can see this camera replacing my 35 mm in many cases, which I didn't expect to happen.
With regards to complaints about the lens cap, apparently Kodak has been listening. I opened my box and to my surprise there was a lens cap cord!
One of the best things is that the camera acts as a virtual drive when attached to the computer. I can upload images directly from my camera to Yahoo Photos on the web, and I can access the photos from another computer on my LAN.
Problems:
Lack of flexibility in choosing resolution and image quality (although this really hasn't affected me yet.) Also, I one of the first things I did was update the firmware. You'd think the cameras currently being sold would have the newest version...
