I purchased my 990 in October and now have over 5000 exposures on it. Macros to aerials and lots of work inside of boilers, power plants and difficult lighting situations. I find that the slow flash is very usefull in areas with some light but not enough for good exposure. The 1.1 upgrade went well, reduces time between exposures. I use fine for almost everything as 40 shots on a 64 meg chip fits my needs well. Didn't think I would like the swivel feature but use it all the time.
Problems:
The wide angle blocks the flash, a real pain. Camera had worked perfectly. Price has come way down, a real value now. Needs some more work on white balance with sodium vapor lights.
