Ignore the Hype. The biggest problem with this camera is that it is very difficult to accessorize as advertised. If you need wide angle be aware that the wide angle lens blocks the optical viewfinder AND the internal flash!!! There are no 28mm filters so you'll need to buy a step up ring to put a polarizer on the WA, and another set of filters to use without the WA. Make sure you have a pocket full of fresh batteries before you go anywhere. No AC adapter is supplied with the camera, so you will probably not be able to use the USB download feature. I finally threw my cable away, and uninstalled the very poor software. The Nikon specified AS-10 flash bracket blocks access to the battery compartment so you will either need an external battery pack (almost a necessity anyway, given the battery life that can be measured in minutes), or grow an extra hand to hang on to everything while you change the batteries. The camera with all of these protuberances and wires and mismatched parts that except for the external battery all bear the name NIKON looks like something from Rube Goldberg or the film Brazil.

Problems:

SL fash setting does not always trigger external flash. Nikon software routinely crashes.
