I have had this camera for about a month and a half and have taken about 700 pictures. I have never taken a picture that I was unhappy with. The macro feature is great for taking a closeup of flowers, which is fine for an amateur like me. Overall I would say a solid investment for someone who likes taking family pics or even scenery pics. The only regret is that I did not get this camera sooner!
Problems:
Only battery drain which I overcame by using a USB CF card-reader. Now the batteries last twice if not three times longer.
