I waited a long time for a digicam with flexibility; in shooting modes, media storage options, and compact size. The G1 fits the bill! It is easily concealed (fits in a pocket) and yet is a high powered digicam with great battery time and unlimited storage capacity. Having used the camera for 5 months, I am quite satisfied with the overall quality of the lens and the simple, but rugged construction of the body. This camera offers enough challenges for the serious amateur and will not disappoint.
