Overall, an excellent camera. I've only had it over a week, but can see the color quality with the new 14-bit image processing is superior to anything else out there. I'm a connoisseur of color saturation, but don't like it "cartooney", and the DSC-S75 delivers. Simply take a look at the sample color shots of this camera against Nikon, and you'll see what I mean about Nikon's color shift on the Blue, and muted colors across the spectrum. I've had a conventional darkroom for over 26 years, and this camera is the first that would make me consider putting my enlarger and chemicals away permanently. There may be bigger and potentially better units out there, but at what size and cost? The DSC-S75 is the ONLY choice for your digital camera for everything from family to advanced use. I strongly recommend getting the HVL-F1000 flash, especially for bounce flash shots (avoiding the harsh shadows for nighttime portraits).

Problems:

Watch your white balance when shooting in different environments. Either keep it in Auto White Balance for Point-N-Shoot applications, or be aware of adjusting it manually for your shooting conditions.
