Don't dump the C2500L as yet .....Today this camera could be considered as "old" yet I guess it still is a descent performer. Close up photos are incredible : Well in focus and very balanced. I have lately bought a pentax optio 330 (not as a replacement for C2500L) and admit that image quality is slightly better when it comes to landscapes and outdoor jobs. Yet that is a 3.34mP digi... (even though it does not really reflect it when it comes to detail)
I was waiting for the Oly E20 as a replacement for C2500L but I will hang on to this Oly for quite some time to come as it seems that the old snags are still being reported on newer Oly models. Don't get me wrong.... I still think Oly is one of the best digi camera producers, yet do not be impressed by 4 mega or tetra pixel cameras unless you really try the equipment yourselves (or let Phil do it!! HA HA). More pixels does not nesessarily mean better quality.
Problems:
Stuck pixels on long exposures. Bulky (by today's standards). Expensive accessory flash. When using wide angle lens onboard flash cannot be used due to shadowing(the wide angle lens covers the lower part of the flash resulting in an eclipse effect!)
