I have had this camera for a while now and it have found it to be a fairly reliable camera. Go ahead and use rechargable batteries, I've used them for ages now and have had no problems. If you get good ones, you'll be able to get really good battery life too.

Apart from the fact that this camera is completely point-n-shoot, it will take really good images that will make brilliant 6x4's or even 5x7's with a bit of post-proccessing.

The Macro ability is *really* good and captures heaps of detail. You can even use a magnifying glass as an additional close up lens and get even better macros.

The construction feels really poor as it is made of not-to-thick plastic but in reality it is quite reliable. Mine has absorbed lots of wear-and-tear and more then a little rain and sea spray!

For the price, this is a great camera, especially if you like macro photography and don't mind letting the camera take control of *all* the decisions.

Problems:

Virtually no exposure controls for creative exposures or difficult lighting situations.

Keyboard shortcuts
