I had originally purchased a 990, however when nikon started giving the $100 rebate returning the 990 for the 995 was a no brainer. This is the best $550 I ever spent. The 4X zoom is the best part for me. It may seem like a little step but the increase of 38mm is huge with the extra lenses. The low light is execllent. Almost all the 990 complaints were addressed. Nikon listened to the users.
Problems:
No real problems. Nikon no longer gives a case with the 995 as they did with the 900. But I will gladley swap a case for the improvements.
