Picture are good. I usually use manual white balance and it seems to take better picture than auto mode. I can't see any difference between fine and superfine compression except the file size is halved (can tell if there is a noticeable quality loss... ).

Video are much better than expected and last about 16 seconds on average in 320*240.

I'm quite happy with this camera although it was rather pricey (i paid it 24000 belgian francs at a local store = 580 US $)

Problems:

No bag to carry it, had to buy one to protect the LCD screen.

8mb is pretty small, it's ok for the moment with about 16 photos in 1600*1200 in fine, but befor my next travel i'll buy a 128MB card cause i won't be able to flush the Compact Flash card on my computer for a while

Flash hardly do anything over 2 meters

Red eye reduction doesn't work well on blue eyes

The small platic cover of the digital/video port is flimsy but i heard Fuji camera doesn't have any so i guess it doesn't matter if i lose it.

Battery doesn't last long, i have to recharge it about once every 40 pictures = every 2 days, although i use the LCD screen only for about half of my shots. It's probably because the flash triggers at almost every shot and the 10 sec review after each picture i set.
