Should have bought the S30 instead.
Lots of features, easy to carry, crisp normal sized pictures, and excellent color rendition. Unhappily, the f/stop doesn't get wide enough to make best use of the extra pixels the S30 doesn't have, as making large prints, diffraction becomes very evident in contrast and sharpeness. It needs at least f/5.6 to move it ahead of the S30 - which costs substantially less.
Problems:
expensive proprietary battery has poor recharge life (burned two already). All accessories overpriced.
