My first digital camera. I reviewed many on market, and at 3.1 mp, the best for the price with the best features.

Problems:

Battery CRV3 costs around $13.00 retail, and this camera eats these batteries fro breakfast. So, put the camera away by lunch time.

I tried regular rechargeable AA batteries, and they last about five minutes, at best.

Then, I realized that the CRV3 batteries have a 1600 milli-amp hour rating, and the regular ni-cad rechargables are rated at 600 mAh.

So, I went to Sears camera department, bought four AA 1600 mAh batteries for $11.00, used my standard recharger, and whalla, the batteries last a reasonably long time.

Compared with the $80.00 price for Kodak's docking station with a rechargable battery, the 1600mAh AA battereis from Sears work great.

Only problem, nobody tells this information to consumers, it's not posted anywhere, and Kodak surely does not provide this information.

Good luck with the digital pics ~
