-Best value for $ camera in this price range
-shots at highest resolution are sharp & able to print up to 8R at digital lab
-easy to use
-good software supplied
-one of the fastest frame to frame on digi cams I've used
-time between flashes within a few seconds (must use 1800 NiMH)
-download times to PC is within 2-4 sec per frame
-the digital cabel to connect to S-Video is excellent - allow you to frame, take the shot & view on a normal TV-Thanks Canon
-AA batteries cheap, easy to get (must get the 1800 w/ intelligent charger), Sony 1600- 500 cycles only, get GP max at 1800 with 1000 cycles
-Should have supplied at least a 32MB CF, I got the 64MB free during the promotion. 64MB at the highest resolution takes approx 100 shots
-Nice size for a good grip compared to the IXUS, a little big to pocket
- Colors are good & sharp, requires very little adjusting, skin tones are good, red's turn out well
Overall, I'm very happy with the A20, excellent buy & have earned a place in replacing my film P&S camera. No more films, developing & wasted shots to spend on.
Problems:
-Tripod mount plastiky, should have been a metal screw on at this price
-Burns batteries, workaround with the 1800NiMH soved the problem, should hv included the NiMH at this price, the supplied alkaline is almost useless...use for your discman only.
-Rubber tab that covers the connectors for digital/power/video a little flimsy - could have been better at this price
