Had the G2 for over a month, Excellent camera in all respects, just wish it was a bit smaller/lighter. Bought the S40 for smaller size as suppose to be "G2 in smaller body" Boy, were they wrong. S40, No comparison to G2, although excellent camera for outdoor pics only. Returned S40 for refund. G2 Brilliant lens and battery life. Excellent resolution and image quality. Shame about size. Had many digital cameras, but I love this one.
