I spend weeks reviewing this retrograde HORRIBLE engineering embarassment. After shooting with this camera, I can conclude this model will be discontinued very soon. Easy of handling is ok if you have three people. The buttons are klunky, cheap, and TRY changing batteries!! the design perameters of this camera are NULL AND VOID.

Even the focus ring screams cheap. The battery door is on the back face of the camera? Salvador Dali could have designed a more functional camera. The images are a bit off in color, but are of sufficent quality. And this camera is a battery HOG-Featured as a prosumer camera, it lacks any ability other than to take a few snapshots of Grandma. By the time you find all the setting buttons located on every face of this camera, change batteries every ten minutes, and get a hand massage from cramping while trying to use the Manual zoom, grandma MAY still be in frame. Forget any studio shooting, action or outdoor work requiring many photos, or having any of the buttons on this camera stay on for more than six months. I would suggest anyone who is foolish enough to buy this camera to invest in superglue. Better yet, DONT BUY IT. Minolta your DIMAGE is better named GARBAGE Mine went back in the box and shipped back. DONT BUY THIS ergononmic rat trap.

Problems:

CHEAP, buttons are best for clothes and not cameras, battery door on the back face? Battery hog, poor zoom slide mechanism, Poor design, rename to GARBAGE 7-this ones a loser.
