I have used this camera for over one year and I am very pleased with it. It is very robust, simple to use, and takes great shots. As noted by other reviewers here, occasionally some indoor shots can tend to blur if you're not careful because of the camera's default auto shutter speed settings. Changing off of "P" mode to manual results in simply stunning images! As with any camera (digital or not) the operator ultimately is the end control on the quality of the final photo. I was never an instamatic fan. I've never had a problem with the battery life. I use a 64Meg card and take a lot of indoor photos (with flash) and battery life has never been an issue. I use the LCD viewer quite a bit and I experience little battery loss. 8x10 prints from my computer come out excellent! I have taken pictures that rival more expensive digital cameras. My only real disappointment with this camera is that Kodak did not pass on (from their earlier DC260 camera) the ability of the camera to auto orientate the slide show display when the shot was taken in portrait mode. My old DC260 would orientate a portrait shot to that of landscape when viewing on the TV so you wouldn't have to turn your head sideways. That feature I do miss. Nonetheless, this camera is excellent!
